Judge Me Not

Diversity Posters

The goal of this project was to create a series of three posters with a common theme of diversity.

Judge Me Not is a series of three posters that discuss workplace discrimination pertaining to race and appearance. The series focuses specifically on the discrimination and unfair treatment of black women in the workforce. This series is a means to show how black women should not be treated differently just because of their appearance or sound alone. They are integral to diversity inclusion and should not be left out of the equation as they are the most marginalized even among women.

My main objective for this project was to create very striking and bold posters that make the viewer stop and look at what is being said in the words. I kept the colors limited so as to be as straight to the point as possible and used the colors to reflect what each poster was speaking on. The lines are bold and thick, much like the style of 80s pop art and comic book style illustration.
