DAVY is an app designed to help people find national parks in America by using search capabilities based on the user’s location. The app features up to date maps of national parks as well as a live view function to walk the park’s trails in real time to plan ahead for the terrain, similar to Google Earth. DAVY was created with the inspiration to encourage more people to power down and get outside and with the decline of visitation to national parks rising, its more important now more than ever to explore and appreciate all the beauty out national parks have to offer in this digital world.
