The goal of this project was to create an original brand of wines paired with a set of chocolates.
This project involved creating our own wine company and designing packaging to pair with the brand. Dragon’s Elixir was inspired by the beautiful diversity of dragons and focuses on spiritual properties of the natural elements found in various fruits, using dragons to represent each element. Each bottle is based on a particular element: water being the serpent, fire being the salamander, and earth being the Kirin. Each has its own color coordination as well as flavor that reflects the element it’s based on.
For this design, I wanted to illustrate very ornate and detailed dragons and put an emphasis on traditional styles of media to make reference to the fantasy style of illustration seen in works like Eragon and Lord of The Rings.
